Turkic Council Project Director Ali Çiviler participated in Turkey- Kazakhstan Road Transport Joint Commission Meeting organized on 28-29 April 2016 in Astana.
The meeting is held with the participation of representatives of Ministries of Transport, Customs and Economy as well as private sector from both sides. Bilateral and transit transport, the Caspian transit route and steps to be taken to overcome the operational problems being experienced in the field have been discussed in detail during the meeting.
Parties reiterated their will to make Trans-Caspian Transportation Line an efficient route and agreed on many practices in order to increase the speed of transport operations on the route.
