Turkic Council Project Director Asan Mazhitov attended the reception organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara on the occasion of the 26th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 5 December 2017.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Çavuşoğlu and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara Abzal Saparbekuly addressed the audience at the reception attended by a number of high-level bureaucrats, businessmen, diplomats and foreign mission chiefs.
A new practice was instituted during the reception; the flag of the Turkic Council was displayed next to the flags of Kazakhstan and Turkey.
