Turkic Council Project Director Assan Mazhitov participated in the ‘Symphonic Folk Songs (Türküler)’ concert organized by General Directorate of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on 22 July 2017 in the ancient city of Aizanoi, Çavdarhisar District of Kütahya.

Within the scope of the ‘Symphonic Folk Songs (Türküler)’ concert organized to promote Çavdarhisar Aizanoi Antique City, İzmir State Symphony Orchestra staged a performance under the direction of Maestro Burak Tüzün.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Hüseyin Yayman, Governor Ahmet H. Nayir, Mayor of Kütahya Kamil Saraçoğlu, AK Party Provincial Head Ali Çetinbaş, Mayor of Çavdarhisar Halil Başer and ambassadors of Macedonia, Thailand, Rwanda, Brazil, Canada, Philippines, South Africa, Latvia, Mauritania, Vatican, Israel, Spain, Costa Rica, South Korea, Denmark, South Sudan, China, Poland, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Brunei, Guatemala, Lebanon and Kosovo as well as a number of locals attended the concert organized in front of the Zeus Temple.

Project Director Mazhitov attended the luncheon given by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Huseyin Yayman and took part in the antique city tour organized prior to the concert.
