Turkic Council Project Directors attended Ministerial Dialogue panels of the 8th International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development in Astana.
Several Ministerial Dialogues were organized within the framework of Eighth International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development on 11 June 2017.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Assan Mazhitov participated at the Ministerial Dialogue: Unlocking Renewable Energy potential in Central Asia.
The Speakers of the panel - Ministers, Deputy Ministers and other high officials from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan shared the information regarding the unlocking the potential of renewable energy in their countries. Also representatives of international organizations informed the participants regarding the projects realized and planned in Central Asia concerning development of renewable energy.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli participated at the Ministerial Dialogue entitled ‘Energy, climate, Food Nexus: towards a circular economy within the framework’.
The Speakers of the panel - Ministers, Heads of International Organizations and leaders from global platforms discussed the aspects of global energy, climate and food systems. Moreover, Ministers touched upon policy frameworks that address water, food and energy in attainment of sustainable development agenda.
