Turkic Council Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Jeyhun Shahverdiev attended the pre-conference technical training workshops kicked off on 16 Ocotober 2017 in the framework of the Fifth Global National Evaluation Capacities (NEC) Conference that is co –hosted in Istanbul by the Government of Turkey and UNDP. The theme of the above-mentioned global conference to be held from 16 to 20 October 2017 in İstanbul, is People, Planet and Progress in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)Era.
Project Directors actively participated in the workshops namely “Multi-stakeholder partnerships for achieving SDGs: implications for evaluation process” and “Theory-based evaluation in practice”. Furthermore, they informed the participants of the said workshops about the activities of the Turkic Council as well as their contributions to the achievement of SDGs.
