The Turkic Council Secretariat in cooperation with Ernst & Young, hosted an online Workshop as a follow-up of the efforts for the establishment of the Joint Investment Fund with the participation of experts of the Ministries in charge of Economy/Finance of the Member States on 19 February 2021.

During the meeting, Parties exchanged views on the key features of the Fund and expectations of the Member States based on their development and strategic planning, as well as held substantial discussions on the technical aspects related to the scope of activities and management structure of the Fund.

Participants concluded that the establishment of valuable economic institutions such as the Investment Fund would certainly add momentum to the existing cooperation and serve as an effective mechanism for supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and facilitating the implementation of various investment projects among the Turkic Council Member States.
