Turkic Council Secretariat organized the visit of Uzbekistan Exporters' Association (UEA) delegation to Turkey
The Turkic Council Secretariat in cooperation with the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) organized the visit of the Uzbek delegation comprised of Uzbekistan Exporters'  Association (UEA) members and furniture industry representatives to Turkey for the period of 22-28 February 2021 as a result of the meeting previously held between UEA and Turkic Council in December 2020 in Tashkent. 
The delegation was headed by Chairman of the Uzbekistan Exporters'  Association Mr. Mukhtar Umarov as well as  Deputies Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Omer Kocaman and Mirvohid Azimov.
On the first day of the visit, the Uzbek delegation had several meetings with the officials of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK), and Turk Eximbank.
At the meeting with the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Uzbek delegation was presented with detailed information on the structure and functionning of TİM and its ongoing programs in support of Turkish exporters. Parties agreed to level up comprehensive cooperation through seeking possibilities of establishing a Representation Office of TIM in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK), Parties discussed the ways to fully utilize investment opportunities, boost exports, and encourage business development activities in the two countries.
At the meeting with the officials of Turk Eximbank, participants agreed to further support exporters and facilitate their access to finance through various innovative financial tools. 
In the framework of the visit, field tours to Masko Furniture City and to Gebze Organized Industrial Zone were conducted, where the delegation familiarized with the best practices and experience of the institutions, as well as exchanged views on strengthening business ties through mutually beneficial partnership activities.
