Turkic Council Secretariat participated in the Panel Discussion entitled “Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on its 10th year” organized by Yıldız Technical University
Turkic Council Project Directors Ali Civiler, Özge Pan and Farrukh Jumayev took part in the panel discussion hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Yıldız Technical University on 14 November 2019 in Istanbul. Vice Rector of Istanbul University, Prof. Dr. Ilyas Topsakal also participated and moderated the panel. 
At the opening, Vice Rector Topsakal touched upon the importance of organizing such events that introduce Turkic Council and its efforts for closer cooperation among Turkic States. He also gave a general overview on the balances of power in Central Asia and Caucasus. 
Turkic Council Project Directors provided the students of political science and international relations with general information regarding the Turkic Council, its structure and its activities and current projects in various fields of cooperation ranging from foreign policy-international cooperation and economy to transport, ICT and tourism. At the end of the panel discussion was held a question – answer session, where students were better acquainted with the undertakings of the Turkic Council for a deeper cooperation in the Turkic World.
Prof. Mehmet Akif Okur, Faculty Member of Political Science and International Relations Department of Yıldız Technical University was also presented with a plaque of the Turkic Council for his leading role in the organization of the panel.
