SOCAR on its 10th anniversary in Turkey opened its new premises with the ribbon cutting ceremony by the SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Istanbul Deputy Governor Ismail Gültekin, Adviser of Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Erman Tuncer, Sarıyer Governor Gursoy Osman Bilgin, Azerbaijan Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Ankara Khazar Ibrahim, Consul General of Azerbaijan in İstanbul Mesim Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of SOCAR Turkey Vagif Aliyev, Members of the Board of Directors of SOCAR Turkey, Suleyman Gasimov and Farrukh Gasimov.

Hosted by SOCAR Turkey CEO Zaur Gahramanov, the ceremony was attended by employees from SOCAR Turkey associates as well as foreign and local guests.

Speaking at the opening, SOCAR President Rövnag Abdullayev indicated that the office building, which was given great efforts and became the new base for investments of Azerbaijan, will become the center of ever-increasing economic and cultural cooperation between the two brothetly countries.

Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan held bilateral talks with his counterparts during the opening ceremony.

Project Directors Ali Çiviler, Jeyhun Shahverdiyev and Acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov accompanied the Secretary General during the ceremony.
