Turkic Council Secretary General, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov along with a delegation paid a visit today (2 April 2018) to the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Alisher Agzamhodjaev.

Turkic Council Secretary General, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov along with a delegation paid a visit today (2 April 2018) to the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Alisher Agzamhodjaev.
During the meeting, Secretary General gave detailed information to Ambassador Agzamhodjaev on the areas of cooperation within the Turkic Council ranging from economy, tourism and transport to youth, education as well as the current projects that are being undertaken by the Secretariat.

Ambassador Agzamhodjaev welcomed the information given by the Secretary General and expressed that as the Embassy of Uzbekistan, they are always ready to discuss possible means of cooperation with the Secretariat on the projects especially focusing on economy and tourism. Ambassador Agzamhodjaev also stressed that following the official visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tashkent scheduled to be held at the end of April 2018 will have positive impacts on the relations between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council.

At the meeting where a family photograph was taken, Secretary General Hasanov presented the plaque of the Council to Ambassador Agzamhodjaev. Secretary General Hasanov also reiterated his invitation of the Ambassador to the Turkic Council Secretariat in Istanbul.

Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman, Project Director Ozge Pan, Advisor to the Secretary General Rashad Gasimov and Acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov accompanied Ambassador Hasanov during this meeting.
