Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov attended the International Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Forum.
Upon the invitation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov attended the International Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Forum held on 25 August 2017 in Bishkek.
President of the Parliament, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and various Ministers from 12 snow leopard range countries along with international representatives from the United Nations and other international organizations, NGOs, diplomats and scientists participated in the international forum hosted by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev.
The participants discussed and shared opinions about the ways to protect the snow leopard and the areas where it lives, while the Bishkek Declaration on the Conservation of Snow Leopards was published at the end of the forum, which is closely followed by the international press.
President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev gave an official luncheon at the end of the forum in honor of the participants.
Secretary General Hasanov had the opportunity to hold a number of bilateral meetings during the forum and the official luncheon.
Project Director Zhyldyz Uzakova, Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul and Advisor to the Secretary General Reshad Gasimov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the forum.
