Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov had bilateral talks with HE Cihan Sultanoğlu, Deputy Assistant Administrator and Deputy Regional Director of the UNDP RBEC in Istanbul on 27 October 2015. Secretary General Hasanov met with HE Sultanoğlu on the occasion of the Turkic Council-UNDP International Conference on ICT for Development held in Istanbul on 27-28 October 2015.
They discussed the development needs of the Turkic Council member states and ongoing projects in the region and expressed the hope that the conference will provide an opportunity for creating ideas which will form the basis of concrete development projects to be co-implemented by the two organisations to achieve Sustainable Development Goals in the Turkic world.
Turkic Council Project Director Pelin Baki and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General during this Meeting.
