Continuing his contacts in Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov is participating in the meeting entitled ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow of Port of Baku’ organized by Undersecretariat of the Baku International Trade Port on 18 March 2016 at the Baku Heydar Aliyev Center.
The activities realized by the Undersecretariat, which is established on 18 March 2015 with the decision of H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and development of Baku Port to respond to the international standards in the region are being discussed during the meeting.
The opening of the meeting was made by Mr. Ziya Mammadov, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was attended by the Ambassadors in Baku and representatives of the international organizations.
Secretary General Hasanov will deliver a speech at the meeting and give information to the participants regarding the activities of the Turkic Council in the fields of transport, customs and economy.
Mr. Alesker Agayev from TÜRKPA is accompanying the Secretary General during the meeting.
