Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who came to Astana to participate in the International Conference “Trans Eurasia 2017”, met with Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Regional Hub of Civil Service Alikhan Baimenov and President of International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali on 1 November 2017 in Astana at lunch.
General Secretary Hasanov and Chairman Baimenov exchanged ideas on the cooperation between the two institutions.
Secretary General Hasanov also gave comprehensive information to the Chairman Baimenov on the existing cooperation between the Turkic Council and the organizations affiliated with the United Nations.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov also invited President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali to the Global South-South Development Expo 2017 that will be co-organized by Turkic Council and United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) later in November in Antalya and which will also be attended by Chairman Baimenov.
At the end of the lunch, General Secretary Hasanov presented a plaque to Chairman Baimenov in memory of the meeting. Chairman Baimenov in turn presented the traditional Turkic game “Togyz Kumalak” to Secretary General Hasanov.
Project Director Assan Mazhitov and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the lunch.
