Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov paid a courtesy visit to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mevlüt Uysal on 24 October 2017 in Istanbul at his premises.
During the visit, Secretary General Hasanov expressed his congratulations to Mayor Uysal for his new difficult task reassuring that this appointment will have a positive impact on Istanbul, the host city of the Turkic Council Secretariat.
Secretary General Hasanov also gave detailed information about the organizational structure, activities and projects of the Turkic Council to
Mayor Uysal.
Mayor Uysal thanked Secretary General Hasanov for his gentle visit and expressed his appreciation on behalf of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to host important international organizations such as the Turkic Council and enthusiasm to support the activities of the Turkic Council.
At the end of the meeting, General Secretary Hasanov presented a plaque to the Mayor of Uysal in memory of the meeting.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
