Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov participated in the opening reception organized within the framework of the "Sport Integrity Global Alliance" (SIGA) General Assembly on 30 January 2018 in Rome.
During the reception held with the participation of a large number of country representatives and representatives of competent international organizations, opinions were exchanged on the need to increase the unifying potential of sports, provide equal opportunities in sports activities, positive contributions to sports to youth work, and active role of sports in protecting young people from radical effects.
During the reception, Secretary General Hasanov had bilateral talks with several high-level participants, in particular with the ICSS President Mohammed Hanzab and SIGA General Coordinator Emanuel Medeiros, during which he informed the counterparts about the activities carried out by the Turkic Council in the field of youth and sports.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by the Project Director Ali Çiviler and Deputy Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov during the reception.
