Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov received President of International Turkic Academy and Chairman of Egemen Kazakhstan Prof. Darkhan Kydyrali on 15 March 2017 at his premises.
General Secretary Hasanov and President of the Academy Kydyrali shared their mutual views on the current cooperation between the Turkic Council and International Turkic Academy. They also exchanged ideas about what has been achieved up to this point and steps to be followed thereafter concerning the “Joint Turkic History Textbook”, the work on which is being carried out under the coordination of Turkic Council.
Furthermore, President of International Turkic Academy and Chairman of Egemen Kazakhstan Kydyrali presented Secretary General Hasanov the multivolume work on the “Endangered Turkic Languages” prepared after a long period of study with the support of the International Turkic Academy and Akhmet Yassawi University.
Secretary General Hasanov expressed his appreciation with the visit of President of the Academy Kydyrali and thanked him for the fruitful meeting prior to the official visit of the Secretary General to Kazakhstan in the first week of April.
In the course of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov noted that he would definitely visit the International Turkic Academy once again during his visit to Kazakhstan and added that Turkic Council will continue to extend its support the International Turkic Academy at the highest level, independent of the ongoing joint projects.
During the meeting, Director of Center for International Relations and Protocol at International Turkic Academy Dr. Askhat Kessikbayev accompanied President of International Turkic Academy and Chairman of Egemen Kazakhstan Prof. Dr. Darkhan Kydyrali.
