Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov signed on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkic Council and the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkic Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), that was initialized by Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Deputy Secretary General the OIC Ambassador Hameed Opeloyeru during the 32nd Ministerial Session of the COMCEC on 22 November 2016, was signed by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov.
The MoU signed by Secretary General Hasanov will enter into force after being signed by Secretary General of the OIC Dr. Yousef A. Othaimeen.
The stated MoU will strengthen and base the existing cooperation between the two organizations on concrete projects. It will also contribute to the obtaining of the observer status of the Turkic Council at the OIC.
