On the second day of his official contacts in Astana, Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev on 4 April 2017.
Secretary General Hasanov gave information to Prime Minister Sagintayev about the projects carried out in the scope of the Business Council Meeting, Business Forum, Astana EXPO-2017 and activities in the field of transport. Secretary General Hasanov also informed about the activities of the Turkic Council in general framework and stated that Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package came to an end. In this regard, he conveyed that the first fam trip of the said tour will be held on 21 April 2017. Finally, he expressed gratitude for the support given by Kazakhstan during its Chairmanship of the Turkic Council.
Prime Minister Sagintayev thanked Secretary General for the information he conveyed to him. He also expressed pride in the activities of the Turkic Council and stated that Kazakhstan will continue to provide all kinds of support in the framework of its chairmanship to the Turkic Council. Lastly, Prime Minister congratulated Secretary General Hasanov for his successful work.
Turkic Council Deputies Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly and Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Project Director Assan Mazhitov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the said meeting. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akylbek Kamaldinov was also present during the talks.
