Secretary General of the Turkic Council, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Fuad Nagiyev in the framework of the 6th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Tourism of the Turkic Council on 24 June 2021 in Kokand, Uzbekistan.

Secretary General and Chairman discussed the ways of strengthening the existing cooperation in the tourism sector among the Member and Observer States. A special emphasis was placed on restoring all ruined tourism facilities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

Highlighting the great potential for the development of the tourism sector in the Turkic world, Parties stressed the need to closely and actively cooperate in all areas of the tourism industry, jointly implement trend initiatives, sustainable and innovative projects in the field of tourism for the benefit of the Turkic people.
