Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Executive Director of Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay on the sidelines of the High-Level International Conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Interconnectivity. Challenges and Opportunities" held on 15-16 July 2021 in Tashkent.

Secretary General Amreyev and Executive Director Sarybay exchanged information on their current endeavours to promote enhanced political, trade and investment cooperation and accelerate integrated and competitive transport and logistics systems in the vast region.

Parties also discussed cooperation opportunities between CICA and Turkic Council –Turkic Council member countries and potential joint programs on the issues of common interest.
