Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stressed the importance of holding an special Session of the Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) under the umbrella of the Turkic Council, on the theme «New era of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan» in Baku, and noted that initiatives for the socio-economic development of all liberated lands of Azerbaijan should be carried out and in this regard all efforts will be made by the State to involve all the parties.
Foreign Minister also said that this event has given additional support to Azerbaijan's legitimate fight for the liberation of its occupied territories. He stressed that the destructive actions and the illegal presence of the armed forces of Armenia in Azerbaijan for many years posed a serious threat not only to Azerbaijan but also to the entire region.
Secretary General briefed the Minister on the outcome of the Meeting of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic Council and TCCI in Baku, as well as organizing the truck of humanitarian assistance to the civilian population living in the front-line city of Barda, which has been affected by the military attack of Armenia.
B.Amreyev updated the Minister J.Bayramov on current developments and further activities of Organization towards the economic integration, particularly the works on completion of the “Turkic Strategy 2025” document, acceleration of the establishment of Turkic Investment Fund and strengthening trade and investment relations among the Member countries.
Head of the Turkic Council reiterated the Turkic Council’s solidarity with Azerbaijan and its brotherly people and reaffirmed the importance of the TCCI Meeting in Baku, noting that such events would contribute to the realization of relevant projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and thus the re-establishment of normal life in these areas.
The sides also exchanged views on various regional and international issues, as well as other important issues on the agenda of the Organization.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Hasanov and Deputies of the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Omer Kocaman and Gismat Gozalov.
