Turkic Council Secretary General met with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan
The  Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Askar Mamin in Nur-Sultan on 1 February 2021.
Secretary General congratulated the Prime Minister with the new government of Kazakhstan and conveyed his best wishes for the continued success in his endeavors and in achieving the goals towards further developing national economy and ensuring the welfare of the people of Kazakhstan.
B. Amreyev stated that Government of Kazakhstan was able to effectively manage the extremely challenging conditions of the pandemic era and to overcome the most difficult period of the modern history of humankind. 
He expressed his gratitude to the Government of Kazakhstan for supporting the activities of the Turkic Council and stated his believe that the traditionally active role of Kazakhstan within the Turkic Council would further develop especially in carrying out new joint activities and projects that would serve the interests of both Kazakhstan and the Turkic world.
H.E. the Prime Miniser A. Mamin welcomed the Secretary General Amreyev and commended the role of Turkic Council in strengthening the relations among the Turkic Council Member States through boosting cooperation in various sectors of the economy, trade, transport, investments, energy, and tourism. 
During the meeting parties discussed the preparations of the upcoming  Summit in Turkestan, proposed by the Honorary Chairman of the Turkic Council and the First President of Kazakhstan H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev.
