Turkic Council Secretary General Ramil Hasanov met with Member from Azerbaijan of the Council of Elders of the Turkic Council, Mr. Fettah Heydarov and his Deputy Mr. Bayram Yusifov on 15 October 2014 in Baku. During the meeting they exchanged views on the forthcoming 8th Meeting of Counicl of Elders due to take place on 27-28 October 2014 in Bishkek.

The Organization of Turkic States was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization. Its primary objective is to foster comprehensive cooperation among Turkic States.
