Turkic Council took part in the meeting “Turkic States on the 30th Anniversary of their Independence: Silk Road Rally from Danube to Orkhun”
The online conference was organized by the TURKSOY on 26 February 2021 with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Bilal Çakıcı and Chairman of Friendship and Peace Rally Association Nadir Serin, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Sultan Raev, representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, TIKA, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities of Turkey, representatives of Embassies of the Member States of Turkic Council  as well as academicians and researchers. 
 Deputy Minister Faruk Kaymakcı underlined in his speech the importance of the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and stated that the “Silk Road Rally from Danube to Orkhun” will increase interaction among the societies of the Turkic Council Member States. 
Deputy Secretary General Sultan Raev briefed the participants about the Turkic Council “Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Project” and stressed the big potential of tourism of the Turkic Council Member States with their unique historical and cultural heritage, landscape and nature, which respond to the new trends in world tourism. 
S.Raev also emphasized that the Silk Road Rally Project from “Danube to Orkhun” will support traditional activities and customs of our countries.
At the meeting the participants made their contribution and proposals for strengthen the ties of brotherhood and solidarity among Turkic Nations.
