Turkic Council Training Program on mutual cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of cynology was organized in Baku.
Hosted by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, the training program on mutual cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of cynology was conducted with the participation of representatives of the cynological units of the Turkic Council Member States on 27-28 January 2020 at the Regional Cynology Training Center of the World Customs Organization located in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The event was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding among the Customs Administrations of the Member States of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on cooperation in the field of Customs Enforcement.
The experts had the opportunity to improve their knowledge and gain new experience from Azerbaijani colleagues in training for the search for narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and tobacco products which is used in the process of special training conducted at the Regional Cynology Center.
Moreover, collaboration opportunities for future joint training strategy development were discussed and valuable conclusions were made. The participants agreed to continue further cooperation among cynology services of member countries and exchange experience in effective use of service dogs during customs control.
