Workshop on “Turkiye Growing Together with the Turkic World" was co-organized by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and Ahmet Yesevi University, with the participation of H.E.Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of OTS  with the theme of “Turkic World Vision 2040; Integrative Partnership” was held at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Tuzla, Istanbul.

At the opening, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ahmet Yesevi University Prof. Dr. Muhittin Şimşek in his address, explained the importance of the reports for the Turkic world that were prepared within the scope of the workshop.

In his speech, Chairman of the Council of Elders of OTS H.E.Binali Yıldırım emphasized the effects of works carried out in the member countries of the OTS and drew attention to the importance of activities especially for youth and common alphabet studies.

Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Dr. Ömer Kocaman, on the other hand, talked about the potential implications of the message of unity by the Turkic States for the world  and commented on the growing global importance of the Organization of Turkic States.

Within the scope of the workshop, the "Turkic World 2040 Vision Integrative Partnership" reports prepared by Ahmet Yesevi University were introduced one by one by the rapporteurs and the academicians who prepared the reports gave detailed information to the participants.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Council of Elders of OTS H.E. Binali Yıldırım was presented with Ahmet Yesevi University’s 30th Anniversary Medal for his services to Turkiye and the Turkic World. 

OTS Deputy Secretary General Yerzhan Mukash and numerous academicians also attended the Workshop.
