Uzbekistan prioritizes tourism cooperation with the Turkic States
Uzbekistan has adopted the Presidential Decree "On Measures to Accelerate the Development of Cooperation with the Turkic States in the Sphere of Tourism" that encompasses the Concept of "Tabarruk Ziyorat" initiative put forward by the President of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the Istanbul Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held on 12 November 2021.
The Decree also includes the Program of events in connection with the announcement of Kokand city as the “Tourism Capital of the Turkic World” in 2022.
We are of the firm conviction that the document will contribute to enhancing tourism potential of the region and leveling up tourism cooperation among the Member and Observer States.
The Secretariat expresses its readiness to support Uzbekistan’s efforts and cooperate with the brotherly country in due implementation of the measures stipulated in the above-referred Decree.
