Secretary General Hasanov thanked Vice Rector for his visit and informed him about the activities that the Turkic Council is carrying out, especially in the fields of education, youth and sports. The parties also exchanged views on the work of the Turkic Council Turkic Universities Union and the projects carried out within this framework.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat stated that they closely follow the successful work of the Turkic Council and they are pleased with the ongoing activities of the Turkic University Union, in which Istanbul University is also included. He also indicated that Istanbul University will contribute effectively to the work of the Union in the upcoming period.
Ms. Dilara Çimen, Istanbul University Representative of the Student Council of the Turkic Universities Union and Turkic Council Project Directors Ali Çiviler, Yıldız Uzakova and Deputy Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov were also present at the meeting.
