Working Group Meeting of the Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was organized in online format on 14 February 2024 in order to follow up the decisions of the 4th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the OTS, which was held in Tashkent on 24-25 November 2023.
The Meeting was moderated by Mirvokhid Azimov, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS and attended by the experts from the Muslim Religious Boards of the OTS Member States.
Parties discussed the issues on the agenda namely formation and working principles of the Fatwa Coordination Group, organizing experience exchange program, convening a forum reflecting the values of the Turkic-Islamic civilization and details of the 5th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the OTS to be held in Kazakhstan in 2024.
